Red carpets usually belong to the stars, but one awards show flips the script by putting the people behind the looks in the spotlight. InStyle’s Imagemaker Awards celebrate the stylists, groomers, hairstylists, makeup artists and costume designers who shape Hollywood’s most memorable moments. This year’s edition delivered a standout arrival from Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The event returned on Oct. 15 for its third annual celebration, held at a private residence in Los Angeles. Stars take the stage to present awards to the creatives who craft their public images, and the night wrapped with an intimate dinner ceremony. Last year’s event drew names like Jenna Ortega, Kerry Washington, Laura Dern, Jessica Biel and Heidi Klum.

This time, Chopra Jonas was one of the most talked-about arrivals, and she was also the night’s Woman of Impact awardee. The honor recognizes a celebrity using her platform to champion causes close to her heart. She showed up in a head-to-toe pink look that quickly became one of the evening’s standout moments.

Chopra Jonas wore a coordinated pale pink set with a subtle printed motif. The look paired a structured blazer with a skirt, and it finished with a flowing train that swept behind her. The sleeves added drama with long slits, and she completed the outfit with strappy white sandals.

The ensemble was from Matières Fécales’ Spring 2027 collection and was styled by Law Roach. The skirt suit was reportedly made from benarasi fabric sourced from Tilfi Benaras, a nod to traditional Indian weaving. Fashion watchers praised the monochrome look, and fans online called it pretty in pink.

The styling is fitting for an awards show devoted to image makers. Roach counts Chopra Jonas among his well-known clients, alongside names like Zendaya, Kerry Washington, Anya Taylor-Joy and Hunter Schafer. His approach has helped make him one of Hollywood’s most influential stylists.

The look also shows how fashion can carry cultural meaning. Pairing a runway piece with a handloom fabric is a way to blend global luxury with South Asian craftsmanship. It is the kind of choice that gets people talking long after the carpet is rolled up.

Chopra Jonas was far from the only star in attendance. The presenters included Megan Thee Stallion, Charli XCX, Heidi Klum, Adam Driver, Elizabeth Debicki, Joey King, Hannah Einbinder and Tyriq Withers. Each presented an award to their own image maker.

Other arrivals included Lisa Rinna, Julia Stiles, Anna Cathcart, Avantika Vandanapu, Amita Rao, Ella Beatty, Hayes Warner, Lucy Freyer and Rachel Marsh. It was a mix of film, television, music and fashion that reflects the breadth of the event. The blend of generations made the evening feel both glamorous and personal.

This is not the first time InStyle has celebrated Chopra Jonas. She was previously honored at the second annual InStyle Awards as a Breakthrough Style Star, alongside fellow honorees Nicole Kidman and Tom Ford. That event spotlighted actors whose style defines the red carpet.

Her fashion profile has only grown since then. Earlier this year she returned to the Oscars for the first time in 9 years, arriving in a strapless white Dior gown with a high slit that needed last-minute alterations. She has also been busy promoting ‘The Bluff,’ which held its world premiere in February.

Part of the appeal is the contrast with her recent glamour. Instead of dramatic white or bold black, she chose a soft, romantic palette that felt celebratory without being loud. The train added movement, and the printed detail gave the pink a sense of texture.

Fans also responded to the fact that the look felt personal. As Woman of Impact, she was there to be honored for more than just fashion, and the outfit let her do both. That balance of substance and style is what made her arrival memorable.

With the awards spotlighting the people behind the glamour, it is fitting that a standout look came from a stylist-star partnership. Expect to see this one pop up on best-dressed lists in the weeks ahead.
