Netflix’s biggest animated hit refuses to slow down. ‘KPop Demon Hunters‘ became the streamer’s most-watched film ever, and the company keeps finding new ways to keep Huntr/x in the spotlight. This week brings a fresh batch of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ extras, with more fan treats lined up for the rest of November.

The film’s run has been remarkable. It drew more than 325 million views in its first 91 days, returned to theaters in sing-along form, and later became the first film to spend a full year in Netflix’s global Top 10. A sequel from directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans is in development, with a 2029 release reportedly targeted.

That long wait is exactly why the extras matter. On November 2, Netflix added 22 new episodes across two companion titles, totaling roughly 79 minutes of new content. The drop counts as four new seasons, giving fans plenty to watch while the sequel is still years away.

Most of the new material lands in ‘KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist’, a brand-new kids title with 3 seasons and 13 episodes of short stories, stop-motion adventures and hands-on games. The first season, ‘HUNTR/X Backstage Pass’, has 6 episodes of about 4 minutes each. Titles include ‘Demon Dance Battle’, ‘Fashion Show Down’, ‘Photoshoot Face Off’ and ‘Day Off with Derpy’, which spotlights the fan-favorite tiger.

The second season, ‘KPop Toy Creations’, adds 3 stop-motion shorts of roughly 5 minutes each, with toy versions of the characters revisiting moments from the film. They include early Rumi and Jinu days, a bathhouse battle with rubber duckies and an airplane battle. Jinu and his Saja Boys plan a soul-stealing concert in the last one.

The third season, ‘Play Games With Us’, has 4 bite-sized challenges of under 3 minutes each, including ‘Dance Off Demise’, ‘Fruit Sword Slice’, ‘Snack Wheel Challenge’ and ‘Ramyeon Race’. In them, dolls and fans compete in games such as slicing fruit for Furblet judges and molding noodles from kinetic sand.

The fourth new season belongs to ‘KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content’, a collection that debuted in March with just under 10 minutes of fan-made featurettes. Its second season, titled ‘Dance Videos’, runs just under 29 minutes and is aimed squarely at fans who want to learn the choreography. Netflix has also released full-length performances of ‘How It’s Done’, ‘Golden’, ‘Takedown’, ‘Soda Pop’ and ‘Your Idol’, featuring real dancers performing the official choreography.

The videos let viewers follow the original movements and formations without the interruptions of the film’s action sequences. Netflix has said additional instructional content, including episodes explaining individual moves, poses and group formations, is arriving as well. For a fandom built around singing and dancing along, it is an obvious fit.

The extras are only the start. On November 3, Criterion releases the film as Spine #1333 in the Criterion Collection, available as a 3-disc 4K UHD plus Blu-ray set, a 2-disc Blu-ray and a 2-disc DVD. The edition comes with video essays, lyric videos, collectible artwork, postcards, an essay by critic Karen Han and new cover art by Ami Thompson.

The same day brings ‘KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Screen Comic Boxed Set’, a 704-page collection that turns the 95-minute feature into comic form. It includes soundtrack lyrics, two foldout posters, a holographic foil slipcase and unique foil-stamped covers. Pre-orders for a Mattel Creations collectible open on November 12.

Taken together, the releases show how carefully Netflix is feeding a young and devoted fanbase. Some commentators have pointed out that the long gap before the sequel is a real challenge, since the audience skews young and attention can drift. Short, shareable extras and physical releases are a smart way to bridge it.

For fans, there is plenty to dig into right now, from stop-motion toy battles to full dance breakdowns. And with the film already holding records on the platform, the franchise looks set to keep dominating conversations well past this busy month.
