‘KPop Demon Hunters‘ has become one of the biggest animated success stories in streaming history. The musical fantasy follows Rumi, Mira and Zoey, a global girl group who juggle superstardom with secret lives as demon hunters. Since it debuted on Netflix on June 20, 2025, the film has grown into a cultural phenomenon well beyond the platform.

It is Netflix’s most-watched movie ever, with more than 500 million views. A sing-along version in cinemas even made it the first Netflix movie to hit No. 1 at the box office. The film also swept the awards circuit, winning the Oscar for best animated feature at the 98th Academy Awards, where its breakout song “Golden” took home best original song as well. That same track also earned a Grammy for best song written for visual media. Director Maggie Kang became the first filmmaker of South Korean descent to win in the animated feature category. The film had also gone 10-for-10 at the Annie Awards.

Netflix has now launched “KPop Demon Hunters: For the Fans!”, a dedicated destination that brings the original film and its companion content together in a single place. The streamer describes it as a first-of-its-kind destination built around the music and characters fans love, with original and playful creations to discover. The hub is live now, with custom artwork throughout.

Beyond the film itself, the hub features two sections of new content. That means fans no longer have to hunt through the app for the bonus material that has been trickling out over the past several months.

‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Gets a Surprise Flood of New Netflix Extras, and November Is Only Getting Busier

Much of the new material comes from ‘KPop Demon Hunters PLAYlist’, a brand-new kids title that added 3 seasons and 13 episodes, running about 49 minutes overall. The first season, ‘HUNTR/X Backstage Pass’, has 6 episodes of roughly 4 minutes each. It follows Rumi, Mira and Zoey as they deal with rival idols, demon janitors, writer’s block and fashion emergencies, and even face off against the Saja Boys during a promo photo shoot.

The second season, ‘KPop Toy Creations’, is a stop-motion project in which toy versions of the characters revisit some of the film’s biggest moments. The third season, ‘Play Games With Us’, adds 4 short game episodes, including a ramyeon-themed twist on Red Light, Green Light.

The ‘KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content’ collection has also picked up a second season, titled ‘Dance Videos’. It adds 9 episodes that run just under 29 minutes in total and are aimed squarely at viewers who want to learn the choreography. The film’s original choreographers perform the routines in these episodes.

All of this arrived in a surprise drop on November 2, when Netflix added 22 episodes across the two companion titles. Together they total about 78 minutes of new viewing time spread across 4 seasons.

The bonus collection started modestly. Netflix first launched ‘KPop Demon Hunters Bonus Content’ on March 6, 2026, with 4 short episodes that ran just under 10 minutes combined. Billed as a celebration made for the fans by the fans, it rounded up fan-made musical covers, family sing-alongs and cosplay transformations.

One episode also gave the singing voices of HUNTR/X, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, a chance to react to fan performances. Now that collection sits alongside the new material in the same hub, which makes the whole library far easier to browse.

Fans who want to step into the world in person have another option this month. ‘KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience’ opens at Netflix House Dallas on November 12 and at Netflix House Philadelphia on November 20. The experience follows an earlier wave of merchandise, games and collaborations that has kept the franchise highly visible.

A sequel is also on the way. Netflix confirmed the follow-up in March, with directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans returning and Sony Pictures Animation producing again. The sequel is reportedly aiming for a 2029 release, so the new hub should give fans plenty to revisit while they wait.
