Sabrina Carpenter Could Land Major MCU Role With Big Future After Secret Wars

Sabrina Carpenter might be getting ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. New rumors are saying she could be playing Dazzler, a mutant pop star from the X-Men comics. The news comes from online scooper MTTSH, who claims that Carpenter has already met with Marvel Studios about the role.

While most people think Dazzler would be part of the upcoming X-Men reboot, there are a few other Marvel projects linked to the X-Men that are in different stages of development. Nothing is confirmed yet, and casting hasn’t officially started.

But Marvel is clearly getting things ready behind the scenes.

Sabrina Carpenter, who’s best known today for her music, actually started as an actress. She’s been in several films and shows like The Hate U Give, Clouds, and Netflix’s Tall Girl movies. She also played Cady Heron in Mean Girls on Broadway. So acting is definitely something she’s done for a while.

Fans of Taylor Swift have long hoped she would play Dazzler, so there might be some mixed reactions if Carpenter gets the part instead. But with her singing background and acting experience, many think she’d be a great fit for the role of Alison Blair.

There are also whispers about who might play other key characters. Some names floating around include Harris Dickinson as Cyclops, Margaret Qualley as Rogue, Julia Butters as Kitty Pryde, David Jonsson possibly as Jubilee, and Trinity Bliss also linked to the project. Colman Domingo is being considered to play Professor X, and Daisy Edgar-Jones might be in the mix to play Jean Grey.

Everything is still up in the air, but it looks like the X-Men reboot is slowly coming together, and Sabrina Carpenter might be one of the new faces in Marvel’s future.
