‘Ironheart’ Achieves Viewership Milestone That ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Never Reached
Disney+’s Ironheart is making waves with its streaming numbers, hitting a milestone that Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again never reached during its first season. For the week of June 23, Ironheart earned 526 million minutes viewed across its three available episodes, landing it in the Top 10 streaming originals.
The show debuted at number six on the Nielsen Streaming Chart, a spot that Daredevil: Born Again never managed to secure.

Ironheart is a Marvel miniseries created by Chinaka Hodge and is the 14th TV series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe produced by Marvel Studios. The story follows MIT student Riri Williams, played by Dominique Thorne, who returns home to Chicago after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
There, she uncovers secrets that mix technology with magic. Hodge serves as the head writer, shaping this new chapter in the MCU.
The cast features Dominique Thorne reprising her role as Riri Williams, with Lyric Ross, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and others joining her. The series was first announced in December 2020, with filming beginning in 2022 in Atlanta and Chicago. Directors Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes helped bring the story to life.
Different viewership trackers show that Ironheart is doing very well. Whip Media, which collects data from its TV Time app users, said Ironheart was the third most-streamed original series in the U.S. during the week ending June 29.
TVision, measuring engagement and views on connected TV apps, placed the show as the second most-streamed between June 23 and 29. JustWatch reported it as the fifth most-streamed series in the U.S. from June 30 to July 6.
Critics have given mixed to positive reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, Ironheart holds a 76% approval rating based on 117 reviews. The site’s critics consensus reads, “Dominique Thorne ignites the MCU skies with charisma and confidence to boot, making Ironheart a worthy watch despite its conventional genre armor.” Meanwhile, Metacritic gives the show a score of 57 out of 100 from 23 critics, indicating mixed or average reviews.
Overall, Ironheart is standing out as a strong addition to the Marvel lineup, capturing viewers’ attention and gaining solid numbers on streaming platforms. This information comes from several tracking companies and review aggregator websites. Fans seem excited to see where this new story takes the MCU next.
