New ‘Gen V’ Season 2 Trailer Drops Ahead of September Premiere
The new trailer for Gen V Season 2 dropped at Comic-Con, and it’s packed with all the gore and craziness fans love from the Boys universe. Amazon Prime Video shared the first look, showing that the upcoming season will keep the wild, over-the-top moments while diving deeper into life at Godolkin University, where the supes train.
The trailer was revealed during a Comic-Con panel that included key cast members like Jaz Sinclair, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and newcomer Hamish Linklater. Chace Crawford also made an appearance, teasing his return as The Deep in the new season. The trailer is now available for fans to watch.
Alongside the trailer, it was announced that Ethan Slater, known for his role in Wicked, will be joining as Thomas Godolkin. Sean Patrick Thomas has been promoted to a series regular for this season, adding even more depth to the cast.
The story picks up with Godolkin University back in session. The new dean, played by Linklater, is teaching a tough curriculum that promises to make the students more powerful. Characters like Cate, Sam, Marie, Jordan, and Emma all return, but they’re carrying the weight of trauma and loss from past events.
The world around them is changing fast, with tensions rising between humans and supes, both on campus and beyond. The group uncovers a secret program tied to the university’s origins, and Marie finds herself connected to it in ways she never expected.
According to the official description shared by Amazon Prime Video, “School is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new dean preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever.”
Gen V is produced by Sony Pictures TV and Amazon MGM Studios, working with Kripke Enterprises, Point Grey, and Original Film. Showrunner Michele Fazekas leads the team with executive producers Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and others contributing to bring this intense world to life.
