‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Trailer Packs Intense Action with Chris Pratt and Taylor Kitsch
Amazon Prime Video has just dropped the brand-new trailer for The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, and it is packed with explosions, gunfire, and intense action. The prequel series takes fans back in time, following Ben Edwards before the events of The Terminal List.
The show is based on characters from Jack Carr’s 2018 novel and was created by Carr and David DiGilio. This time, the story focuses on Edwards’ journey from Navy SEAL to CIA operative, diving deep into the shadowy side of warfare and the heavy price it takes on those who fight it.
Taylor Kitsch is back as Ben Edwards, reprising his role from the original series. Chris Pratt also returns as James Reece, and Tom Hopper joins the cast as Raife Hastings, a fellow Navy SEAL. Other cast members include Jared Shaw as Ernest “Boozer” Vickers, Luke Hemsworth as CIA contractor Jules Landry, Dar Salim as Iraqi Special Operations officer Mohammed Farooq, Robert Wisdom as CIA spymaster Jed Haverford, Rona-Lee Shimon as Mossad veteran Eliza Perash, and Shiraz Tzarfati as Mossad operator Tal Varon.
Amazon first announced in early 2023 that a prequel centered on Edwards was in development. By January 2024, the official title The Terminal List: Dark Wolf was revealed, with Jack Carr and David DiGilio co-creating and serving as executive producers. Kitsch, Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, and several others are also producing the series.
Filming began in March 2024, and the series is set to premiere on August 27, 2025. The first three episodes will drop on the same day, with new episodes releasing weekly until September 24.
Fans can expect a gritty and action-packed ride. As seen in the trailer, there’s no shortage of covert missions, tense shootouts, and high-stakes drama. Speaking about the project, the creators have made it clear this prequel will dig even deeper into the dangerous world these characters live in.
