First Full Look at Tom Holland’s New Spider-Man Suit in ‘Brand New Day’ Revealed
Spider-Man fans finally got a big reveal today. Sony has shown the first proper look at Peter Parker’s brand-new suit in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This comes just a day after a short teaser dropped, showing only quick flashes of the outfit. That short clip still became a massive hit online, pulling in over 77 million views within its first 24 hours.
The new reveal shows off the whole suit, though most of the focus is on the torso. Even with that limited view, fans can clearly see that the design has been updated. Social media is already buzzing with excitement and speculation about the changes.

Brand New Day is the latest chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Spider-Man story. It’s being co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios, with Sony Pictures handling the release. This will be the 38th MCU movie and the fourth solo Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland, following 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, with the script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the same team behind Holland’s last two Spider-Man adventures. Holland returns as Peter Parker, alongside Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. New cast members include Sadie Sink from Stranger Things, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher.
Marvel boss Kevin Feige hinted that Bernthal’s new version of the character will be unlike his past appearances, saying it will feel “different” compared to the grittier portrayals fans have seen before. Charlie Cox is also set to return as Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil.
Previously, it’s also been confirmed that Ruffalo will reprise his role of Hulk and Michael Mando will reprise his Scorpion role from Homecoming.
The story picks up right after No Way Home. In that film, Doctor Strange’s spell erased Peter Parker from everyone’s memory. Now Peter is living in the shadows, protecting New York City from everyday criminals while trying to rebuild his life and figure out who he is without the people who once knew him.
Filming for the movie began today in Glasgow, Scotland, using the working title Blue Oasis. The Glasgow Times reported that several areas in the city center, including Merchant City, George Square, and Trongate, have been transformed into New York City for the shoot. Holland has enjoyed starting the project on real streets instead of just on soundstages.
He shared that it reminded him of working on Spider-Man: Homecoming, which also featured plenty of real-world locations. After filming wraps in Scotland, production will move to Pinewood Studios in England.
Producer Amy Pascal has already confirmed that this movie will be the beginning of a brand-new trilogy for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Filming is expected to wrap later this year. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to swing into theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Marvel’s Phase Six.
If the reaction to this new suit is anything to go by, the next two years are going to be filled with speculation, leaks, and hype until Peter Parker returns to the big screen.
