The Morning Show first premiered on Apple TV+ back in November 2019 and quickly became known for its intense look at the world of morning news. Inspired by Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning, the series explores the messy lives behind the scenes of a broadcast news show.

The new season was confirmed in May 2023, with production running from July to December 2024.
