‘Gen V’ Season 2 Reveals Official Release Schedule
The second season of Gen V, the hit satirical superhero show and the third series in The Boys franchise, is officially set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 17, 2025. This announcement comes as the official release schedule for the season has been revealed, giving fans exact dates for the new episodes. The series is based on the comic book story arc We Gotta Go Now by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

The season brings back much of the main cast, including Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, London Thor and Derek Luh as Jordan Li, and Asa Germann as Sam Riordan.
Joining them this season is Hamish Linklater, who plays the new dean at Godolkin University, Dean Cipher. The story picks up after the events of the fourth season of The Boys in 2024, following Marie and her friends as they return to Godolkin after months of suffering.
The new dean begins training Supes to become soldiers, and with war between humans and Supes looming, the team discovers a mysterious program that could change everything.
Returning from the previous season are guest appearances from Chace Crawford as Kevin Moskowitz, also known as The Deep, and Valorie Curry as Misty Tucker Gray, aka Firecracker.
Nathan Mitchell reprises his role as Black Noir II, while Erin Moriarty returns as Annie January, also known as Starlight. A recurring role this season is played by Ethan Slater as Thomas Godolkin. The cast is rounded out with new additions including Keeya King, Stephen Kalyn, Julia Knope, Stacey McGunnigle, Tait Fletcher, Wyatt Dorion, and Georgie Murphy.
One notable absence this season is Chance Perdomo, whose character Andre Anderson will not be recast following Perdomo’s tragic death in March 2024 in a motorcycle accident.

Production of the season was briefly put on hold after this loss. Table reads were scheduled to begin the day of his passing, and filming officially started in May 2024 and wrapped on October 31, 2024.
Fans can expect intense drama, humor, and the sharp social commentary that Gen V is known for. With the official release schedule now out, viewers can mark their calendars for September 17, 2025, when the new season hits Amazon Prime Video.
