Netflix has released a first look at its upcoming historical drama series, House of Guinness, created by Steven Knight, the mind behind Peaky Blinders.

The eight-episode series is set to premiere on September 25, 2025, and promises to take viewers deep into the world of the famous Guinness brewing family. Variety reported on the series and shared details about the cast and production.

House of Guinness tells the story of the Guinness family in 19th-century Ireland and New York. It focuses on the fallout after the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man who built the brewery into a worldwide success. The series explores the challenges his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben—face after his passing.

The cast includes Louis Partridge as Edward Guinness, Anthony Boyle as Arthur Guinness, Emily Fairn as Anne Guinness, and Fionn O’Shea as Benjamin Guinness. Other notable actors include David Wilmot as Bonnie Champion, James Norton as Sean Rafferty, Jack Gleeson as Byron Hughes, and Dervla Kirwan as Aunt Agnes Guinness.

The series also stars Danielle Galligan, Michael McElhatton, Hilda Fay, Niamh McCormack, and Seamus O’Hara.

Production on House of Guinness began in Cheshire during the summer of 2024. Filming also took place in Stockport, Greater Manchester, and Liverpool. Tom Shankland directs the first five episodes, while Mounia Akl takes the helm for the final three. Steven Knight and Shankland serve as executive producers alongside Karen Wilson, Elinor Day, Martin Haines, and Ivana Lowell. Series producer Cahal Bannon and producer Howard Burch round out the production team.

The show promises the same gripping drama and detailed storytelling that fans of Peaky Blinders have come to expect. With the first look now released, viewers can get a taste of the period costumes, elaborate sets, and intense family drama that House of Guinness will bring.

Knight and the production team aim to capture the ambition, rivalry, and legacy of the Guinness family, showing both their personal and business struggles.
