Haunted Snacks: Annabelle Gets a Sinister Popcorn Bucket for ‘The Conjuring: The Last Rites’

The Conjuring franchise is preparing to say goodbye with its final chapter, The Conjuring: Last Rites, and fans are already buzzing about a spooky new collectible. A first look at the film’s exclusive popcorn bucket has made its way online, and it features none other than Annabelle, the infamous haunted doll from the Conjuring Universe.

The bucket is designed with Annabelle seated in her usual chilling position, clutching a tub of popcorn between her legs. It’s both eerie and playful, capturing the unsettling charm that has made her one of horror’s most recognizable figures. The Conjuring: Last Rites is directed by Michael Chaves, who also helmed The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The script comes from Ian Goldberg, Richard Naing, and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, based on real-life supernatural investigations carried out by Ed and Lorraine Warren.

James Wan, who created the franchise, co-wrote the story and is returning as a producer alongside Peter Safran. The film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, who once again play the Warrens, with Mia Tomlinson and Ben Hardy joining the cast. Warner Bros. has confirmed that the movie will arrive in theaters on September 5, 2025.
