Addison Rae made an unforgettable entrance at the 2026 Grammy Awards, proving that her transition from social media sensation to pop powerhouse is fully complete. The 25-year-old artist stepped onto the red carpet at the Crypto.com Arena in a custom white Alaïa gown that challenged every fashion norm of the night. Featuring a neckline that plunged well below her navel, the look highlighted a series of intricate body gems and a belly ring, drawing every eye to her daring silhouette.

The “Aquamarine” singer completed the ensemble with loose blonde waves and matching white heels, playfuly interacting with photographers before heading inside for the ceremony.

While the outfit was a major talking point, the night held even deeper significance for Rae, who was celebrating her first-ever Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Speaking to Variety about the milestone, she admitted that the recognition felt like a dream she once feared might stay out of reach.

It’s such an honor to be recognized, not just as a new artist, but as an artist at all, by the Recording Academy, Rae shared. She reflected on the difficulty of being taken seriously when transitioning from digital fame to the music industry. Anyone who has ever dreamed of doing what they love but feared they wouldn’t be taken seriously knows how much this kind of moment means. I’ve definitely battled with that doubt before, wondering if this could ever be possible, she added.

Although the Best New Artist trophy eventually went to British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, Rae’s presence was felt throughout the evening. She took to the stage for a high-energy performance of her hit single, showcasing the polished choreography and stage presence that have become her trademarks.

The Recording Academy’s nod follows a year of massive success for her debut studio album, Addison, which was produced by the acclaimed duo ELVIRA and Luka Kloser and reached the top ten in several countries.

Beyond the music world, Rae is also preparing for a massive year on the big screen. She is set to star in the highly anticipated live-action/animation hybrid Animal Friends, which features an A-list cast including Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Aubrey Plaza, and Dan Levy.

Directed by Peter Atencio, the R-rated road trip comedy is scheduled for a June 2026 release. This follows her previous acting turns in films like Thanksgiving and He’s All That, further solidifying her status as a multi-talented entertainer.
