Alessandra Ambrosio turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of the short film Sandiwara, proving that her supermodel poise hasn’t faded one bit. The Brazilian beauty walked the red carpet at The Living Room, a private club in Los Angeles, on February 19, radiating confidence in a sheer dress that showed off her cleavage.

The intimate premiere brought together a mix of fashion icons and film insiders, including Kate Moss and Barbara Palvin. Ambrosio’s effortless elegance made her a highlight of the night as she mingled with guests and posed for photographers, reminding everyone why she remains a top figure in both fashion and entertainment.

The 11-minute film, directed by Oscar-winner Sean Baker, was shot entirely on an iPhone in a bustling Malaysian night market. Produced in collaboration with the fashion house Self-Portrait, Sandiwara stars Michelle Yeoh, who plays five distinct characters ranging from a street food vendor to a vlogger, showcasing her versatility and earning early praise from critics.

Alessandra’s appearance at the premiere comes amid a busy year for the model-turned-entrepreneur. She has continued to expand her lifestyle brand, Gal Floripa, while also returning to fashion shows, including a high-profile runway comeback for Victoria’s Secret in late 2024. Returning to these creative spaces feels like coming home, Ambrosio told the press, reflecting on her love for collaborating on artistic projects.

Outside of modeling and business, she has focused on philanthropy, auctioning pieces from her personal collection to support environmental causes in Brazil. When she isn’t traveling for work, Alessandra spends time in Malibu raising her two children, Anja and Noah, while balancing her professional ventures.

Sandiwara officially became available to the public on February 20. The film represents a milestone for Self-Portrait founder Han Chong, who wanted to highlight his Malaysian roots through an innovative short film format. Alessandra’s presence at the premiere added star power to the project, highlighting the intersection of fashion, cinema, and cultural storytelling.

With awards season still in full swing, Alessandra is expected to continue making appearances at both film and fashion events, maintaining her relevance and influence in the industry. Her combination of veteran modeling experience and genuine enthusiasm for new creative ventures keeps her at the forefront of modern glamour.
