Alexandra Daddario’s First Look From ‘The Escorted’ Set Has Fans Talking

Alexandra Daddario has started filming her next major project, giving fans a first look at her upcoming Prime Video comedy series ‘Escorted.’ New set photos show the actress working on the production in New York as the show begins moving forward ahead of its future release.

Among the biggest moments was Daddario’s appearance on the set of ‘Escorted,’ a new comedy series coming from Amazon Prime Video and Warner Bros. Television.

‘Escorted’ is an eight-episode, half-hour single-camera comedy created by Emmy-winning writer and actor Brett Goldstein, known for his work on ‘Ted Lasso’ and ‘Shrinking.’ Goldstein is also serving as an executive producer, writer, and co-showrunner on the project alongside Brian Gallivan, who has worked on shows like ‘Shrinking’ and ‘Happy Endings.’

The series follows a divorced father living in Manhattan who unexpectedly enters the world of male escorting. The story focuses on relationships, secrets, parenting, and the question of whether genuine emotional connection can ever come from something that starts as a business arrangement.

Daddario’s exact role in the series has not been fully revealed, but her involvement has already attracted attention from fans who are curious to see the actress take on a new comedy role. The project marks another interesting addition to her growing list of television work after starring in shows like ‘The White Lotus’ and ‘Mayfair Witches.’

Brett Goldstein previously shared his excitement about the series, joking about the unusual subject matter while explaining why he wanted to bring the story to audiences. “I’m so excited to bring a wholesome show about condoms, co-parenting, and cosplay to Amazon – the place where I actually buy my condoms, so it feels like a real full circle moment,” Goldstein said.

Warner Bros. Television chairman and CEO Channing Dungey also praised the creative team behind the series, saying Goldstein and Gallivan created a fresh take on modern relationships while keeping the emotional side of the story at its center.

“Together, Brett and Brian deliver a hilarious, modern take on relationships, grounded in a heartfelt story about a single dad navigating love, parenting, and life,” Dungey said.

Prime Video executive Peter Friedlander also highlighted the balance between comedy and emotion in the series, explaining that the show is not only about its unusual premise but also about people looking for real connections.

“What makes ‘Escorted’ so compelling is that beneath all of the chaos, comedy, and secrecy is an unexpectedly tender story about people searching for connection,” Friedlander said.

The series is being produced by Warner Bros. Television, with Cooper Wehde, Josh Senior, and Molly Mandel also serving as executive producers. The show will be released globally on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.

While a premiere date has not yet been announced, these first behind-the-scenes looks suggest production is moving ahead. With Daddario leading the cast and a creative team with strong comedy experience behind the camera, ‘Escorted’ is shaping up to be one of Prime Video’s more unexpected upcoming releases.
