Amanda Seyfried and Kate Hudson Turn Heads at Palm Springs Film Festival
Amanda Seyfried enjoyed a fun weekend in Palm Springs while promoting her new film, The Testament of Ann Lee.
The 40-year-old Oscar-nominated actress attended the 2026 Palm Springs International Film Festival on Saturday, January 3, alongside the movie’s director, Mona Fastvold.

At the festival, Amanda joined the “Talking Pictures” event presented by Kering, where she spoke about the film. She also spent time signing autographs for fans. For the occasion, Amanda chose a black mini-dress with a white collar and matching cuffs. She completed the look with pointed black heels. Amanda wore Balenciaga, Aquazzura shoes, and Tiffany & Co jewelry.

During a December appearance on Chelsea Handler’s podcast, Amanda shared memories about auditioning for Wicked, reflecting on her journey as an actress. Fans also showed support at screenings, including Selena Gomez, who attended the Los Angeles premiere of Amanda’s film.
Kate Hudson was another highlight of the weekend. She walked the red carpet at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards, where she was honored with the Icon Award for her contributions to film. Amanda Seyfried also received recognition, earning the Desert Palm Achievement Award for Actress.

The festival celebrated several other stars, including Miley Cyrus, Mia Goth, Timothée Chalamet, Adam Sandler, Michael B. Jordan, Ethan Hawke, Chloe Zhao, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal, and Rose Byrne. Leonardo DiCaprio was scheduled to be honored but could not attend. Celebrities including Laura Dern, Mahershala Ali, Colman Domingo, and Rob Marshall were also present.
