Andrew Garfield and Jude Law Go Unrecognizable in Dramatic ‘Wild Things’ TV Show Transformation
Andrew Garfield and Jude Law are hardly recognizable as they step into the glittering world of Las Vegas magic for Apple TV+’s upcoming series Wild Things.
The actors were recently spotted filming in the city, taking on the roles of legendary illusionists Roy Horn and Siegfried Fischbacher. Fans were stunned by the dramatic transformations, from Garfield’s prosthetics to Law’s bleach-blond hair and elaborate costumes.
Garfield embodies Roy Horn, bringing to life the magician who was famously injured in the 2003 tiger attack that ended his performing career. “It’s a huge transformation. I barely recognized him,” one onlooker told the press after seeing the set photos. Opposite him, Jude Law channels Siegfried Fischbacher, capturing the flamboyant energy and larger-than-life style of the German-American entertainer.

Wild Things is based on the hit podcast Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, created by Steven Leckart. The show will explore the duo’s meteoric rise on the Las Vegas Strip, their legendary performances with white lions and tigers, and the personal and professional challenges behind the spectacle. It promises to show both the glamour and the darker realities of their careers.

Filming began in January in Las Vegas, aiming for an authentic backdrop that reflects the grandeur of the magicians’ heyday. John Robert Hoffman is writing and executive producing, while Matt Shakman, known for WandaVision, is directing the pilot to set the series’ tone.
The casting has been carefully assembled to bring the world of Siegfried & Roy to life. Justin Theroux plays casino mogul Steve Wynn, a key figure in the duo’s Las Vegas residency. Brett Gelman, Jessica Madsen, Justin Bartha, Cameron Britton, and Bill Heck round out the recurring cast, portraying business partners, show staff, and family members who shaped the magicians’ lives.
Apple TV+ has not revealed an official release date yet, but production schedules hint at a late 2026 or early 2027 premiere. With such a star-studded cast and high-profile creative team, Wild Things is shaping up to be a major contender for awards and buzz in the coming year.
