‘Anna Pigeon’ Episode 3 Release Date & Time: When ‘The Preacher’ Airs

USA Network’s return to original scripted drama has paid off in a big way this month, with ‘Anna Pigeon‘ quickly establishing itself as the network’s newest crime-of-the-week series. Based on Nevada Barr’s bestselling novels, the show follows Tracy Spiridakos as a former city dweller turned national park ranger who channels a devastating personal loss into solving crimes across America’s national parks.

Set primarily at a fictionalized version of Glacier National Park, the series pairs Spiridakos’ Anna with Ronnie Rowe Jr.’s FBI agent Frederick Stanton and a rotating cast of fellow rangers, including Paulina Alexis as Zoey Bear Child and Kim Coates as recurring antagonist Jeremiah Paulson. Lea Thompson, best known for ‘Back to the Future,’ serves as director and executive producer on the series, helping shape its tone as a mystery-of-the-week drama built around Anna’s ongoing personal journey. With the first two episodes already establishing the show’s mystery-driven format, fans are eager to know exactly when the next installment lands.

Episode 3, titled “The Preacher,” is scheduled to air Friday, August 21, at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network. The episode finds Anna guiding a tense group of campers through the backcountry as a powerful storm closes in, forcing her to keep the group safe while the weather turns increasingly dangerous.

That Friday night time slot has remained consistent since the series debuted. ‘Anna Pigeon’ premiered on August 7 with the episode “Track of the Cat,” in which Anna questions the official explanation behind a fellow ranger’s suspicious death, before continuing with “Hide + Seek” on August 14, which found Anna helping a family navigate a dangerous game gone wrong.

Unlike many current USA Network shows, ‘Anna Pigeon’ will not stream on Peacock, a change that stems from Versant, the network’s new parent company, operating independently of NBCUniversal as of early 2026. Viewers hoping to catch the show live have several options beyond traditional cable, including Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV, with Sling Blue also carrying USA Network in select markets.

For those who miss an episode on its original air date, the first two episodes are available to stream for free on YouTube and Fandango shortly after broadcast. Fandango will make the complete first season available 30 days after the finale airs, though the bulk of the season will otherwise remain exclusive to linear television and USA Network’s own site throughout its initial run.

‘Anna Pigeon’ is set to run for a full 10-episode season, with new episodes continuing to air every Friday night through the finale on October 9. That structure gives the series plenty of room to build out its central mystery format while introducing new complications each week, with Episode 4, “Hell Is Other People,” already scheduled to follow on August 28 and centering on an explosion inside the park that pulls Anna into a case stretching beyond its borders.

The show’s production spanned Alberta, Canada, with Bragg Creek standing in for Glacier National Park and downtown Calgary doubling for New York City in flashback sequences. That Canadian production tie also means the series has a home north of the border on Crave, where new episodes become available the morning after they air in the United States.

With a strong two-episode start already behind it and a steady mystery-of-the-week format ahead, ‘Anna Pigeon’ looks well-positioned to keep building momentum through the rest of its first season.
