Apple TV is reportedly moving deeper into the world of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere, with early plans for adaptations of both Mistborn and The Stormlight Archive beginning to take shape.

According to Brandon Sanderson, Apple has shown strong enthusiasm for a premium Stormlight Archive series and initially wanted it to be the first project they developed.

The information comes from Sanderson himself, who has been closely involved in shaping how his expansive fantasy universe will transition to screen. Rather than allowing the adaptations to be handled without his input, the author has taken an unusually active role in guiding the overall direction of the projects from the very beginning.
