Arnold Schwarzenegger Spends Thanksgiving with Granddaughters in Adorable Family Photo
Arnold Schwarzenegger enjoyed some family time over Thanksgiving, sharing a sweet moment with his granddaughters.
The actor, 78, was pictured by his daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt alongside ex-wife Maria Shriver and the two girls, Eloise Christina, 3, and Lyla Maria, 5. The photo shows the girls posing in front of a large play gingerbread house decorated with an Elf on the Shelf and small pine trees, while Arnold follows them in the background.
Katherine captioned the picture, “So much to be thankful for ♥️.”
In an interview September 2023, Arnold talked about what his grandchildren call him. He is granddad to Katherine’s three kids: Eloise, Lyla, and her 12-month-old son, Ford. “Opa,” he said, referring to the German word for grandpa. “It’s just such a fun thing to do because it’s kind of like I [didn’t] know how good I would be [at being a grandfather] but I have the animals so it’s an easy thing.”
This glimpse of Arnold enjoying family time shows a softer, personal side of the actor beyond his movie roles and public appearances. It’s clear he cherishes these moments with his grandchildren and family.
