Marvel Studios has fans buzzing again after dropping a new teaser for Avengers: Doomsday. This time, the short clip takes viewers back to Wakanda and reveals an unexpected crossover that few people saw coming.

The teaser, released by Marvel Studios, shows familiar Black Panther characters sharing the screen with a major face from the Fantastic Four. Shuri, M’Baku, and Namor all appear, but the big surprise comes when Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, shows up in Wakanda. It’s the first clear sign that these two corners of the Marvel universe will directly collide in the upcoming film.

The clip includes narration from Shuri, played by Letitia Wright. She reflects on everything Wakanda has been through since the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She speaks about loss and change, and confirms that M’Baku has stepped into the role of king. The tone is serious and emotional, but it quickly shifts once The Thing enters the scene, hinting at a much larger story ahead.

Namor also makes a return. After starting as an enemy in Wakanda Forever, he now appears to be working alongside Wakanda. That uneasy alliance could become important, especially with Doctor Doom expected to be the main threat. Robert Downey Jr. is set to play the villain, marking a major shift from his long run as Iron Man.

Marvel has been slowly rolling out these short teasers to build hype for Avengers: Doomsday. Each one has focused on different characters, but this Wakanda clip stands out because it confirms a major crossover. Fans had already suspected that the Fantastic Four would mix with other teams, but seeing it happen in Wakanda raised the stakes.

Avengers: Doomsday is being directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18. The film will bring together Avengers, Wakandans, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and newer heroes in one massive story. A follow-up movie, Avengers: Secret Wars, is already set for December 2027.

This teaser did exactly what it needed to do. It didn’t give too much away, but it confirmed that Marvel is going all in on big crossovers. Seeing The Thing in Wakanda feels bold and exciting, and it opens the door to a lot of fun character moments. If this is just a taste of what’s coming, Avengers: Doomsday could be one of Marvel’s biggest events yet.
