Behind the Scenes of ‘Ironheart’: Anthony Ramos and Manny Montana Suit Up!
New look images from the upcoming Disney+ series Ironheart have been revealed. The show, which follows Riri Williams after Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), is set to premiere on June 24, 2025.
Riri Williams, played by Dominique Thorne, is a brilliant MIT student who builds her own high-tech suit of armor. After helping Wakanda, she returns home to Chicago. There, she faces a new challenge, going up against Parker Robbins, also known as The Hood. The series will explore the clash between technology and magic.
Alongside Thorne, the series stars: Anthony Ramos as Parker Robbins / The Hood, Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliyah, Manny Montana, Matthew Elam, and Anji White.
Empire recently revealed new Behind-the-scenes images of Anthony Ramos and Manny Montana.
Anthony Ramos is in his The Hood costume. The actor previously stated that Robbins was complex and a misfit who “wants to take in other misfits and show the world that you looked at us as outcasts but we’re going to end up on top“
Manny Montana is playing “Cousin John” and so far we have no idea what his role will entail.
The show was created by Chinaka Hodge, who also serves as head writer. Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes directed episodes. Filming took place in Atlanta and Chicago in 2022.
Ironheart will be the final Disney+ series of Phase Five of the MCU. With a mix of technology and magic, it promises to be a thrilling ride.
