Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson & Robert De Niro Reunite, But It’s the Shocking New Cast Member That Has Fans Buzzing in ‘Meet the Parents’ 4 Revival

Owen Wilson is set to return to a role fans loved in the upcoming Meet the Parents 4. The actor will join Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, who are also coming back for the new film. Teri Polo, known for playing Stiller’s wife in the previous movies, will reprise her role as well. What’s grabbing attention is the addition of pop star Ariana Grande to the cast.

Universal Pictures is producing the film, which is scheduled for release on November 25, 2026. For international audiences, Paramount Pictures will handle distribution. John Hamburg, who was involved in writing the earlier movies, is returning as the writer and director. He is also one of the producers.

The Meet the Parents series began in 2000 and followed Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) as he tried to impress his girlfriend’s intimidating father, played by De Niro. The sequels expanded the story, adding more family members and focusing on Greg’s life as a husband and father.

Owen Wilson’s character, Kevin, was introduced as the charming ex-boyfriend and made appearances in the first film and later sequels.

Details about the plot of the new film are still limited. However, reports suggest it will focus on the grown-up son of Greg and Pam, whose fiancée, played by Ariana Grande, may not be a great fit for the family.

Alongside Hamburg and the main cast, the production team includes familiar names such as Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro, Jay Roach, and Ben Stiller. Wilson, who has not had a big movie role since 2023, is also starring in the Apple TV+ series Stick, which has received positive reviews.
