Blackpink is officially back and ready to take over the music world again with their new project, Deadline. The group recently shared a cool new visual poster on Instagram to get everyone excited for their third mini-album.

This specific poster is being called the red light version, and it features all four members—Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie—looking as iconic as ever.

According to the group’s official social media updates, the album is scheduled to drop on February 27 at midnight. This news comes right after the girls shared the tracklist for the mini-album, which will include five brand-new songs. Fans are especially hyped because this is the first time the whole group has released music together in about three years, with their last big project being Born Pink back in 2022.

While they were away from the group, every single member stayed busy by releasing their own solo albums. They’ve also been picking up some huge awards along the way. For example, Rosé made headlines at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards when she took home the trophy for Song of the Year. It’s clear that even when they are doing their own thing, they are still at the top of their game.

The new album title, Deadline, actually matches the name of their massive world tour that has been happening over the last several months. That tour just wrapped up with some huge shows in Hong Kong at the end of January, so the timing for new music couldn’t be better. YG Entertainment, the company that manages the group, has been dropping these teasers to show off a more mature and experimental side of the band.

To make the comeback even more special, Blackpink is teaming up with the National Museum of Korea for a unique celebration. From the day the album drops until early March, the museum is going to be lit up in pink every night. There will even be a special area where visitors can listen to the new songs while looking at historical artifacts. The members even recorded audio guides in different languages to help people learn about the museum’s treasures.

It’s a big moment for the fans, who have been waiting a long time to see the four stars back in one place. Between the new songs like Jump and Go and this massive museum collaboration, the group is making sure their return is impossible to miss. After years of focusing on solo fashion brands and individual acting roles, the K-pop queens are officially back in their area.
