Brooks Nader (29) Admits “Forever Regretting” This One Cosmetic Surgery
Brooks Nader is speaking out about a cosmetic procedure she wishes she never had. The 29-year-old reality star, known for Love Thy Nader, admitted to having second thoughts about liposuction she underwent years ago.
“I probably shouldn’t say this, but I’m just going to say it,” she told People in an interview published March 21. “I had liposuction years ago.”
Nader shared that the procedure didn’t give her the results she hoped for and even caused some unexpected side effects. “I forever regret it because I just didn’t need it. I feel like it created dimples and ripples and things,” she explained. She added that her approach to plastic surgery has changed over time, noting, “We got to do less with all that and be healthy.”
Liposuction isn’t the only method Nader used to manage her weight. She previously revealed using a GLP-1 weight loss drug, which she credits with helping her career in modeling take off. “The direct feedback was I needed to lose 30 pounds. I didn’t shed one tear over it. I don’t feel bad for myself. I just say, ‘The facts are they want me to lose weight. How can I achieve that?’” she told Bustle.
She continued, “The facts are that when I started GLP-1, my career took off. I’m not saying it’s OK. I’m not saying it’s right. I think everybody is different—but I lost 30 pounds, and I booked all the jobs.”
Her weight loss journey was also highlighted in a season one episode of Love Thy Nader, where her sisters expressed concern over her use of GLP-1 before a major Maxim photo shoot. Brooks admitted, “Beauty standards in this industry are so unrealistic that you have to take shortcuts sometimes. I have so many huge life-changing shoots coming up. I feel like the pressure’s on and I’m gonna do whatever it takes to look my best.”
Brooks Nader’s candidness sheds light on the pressures of the modeling and entertainment industry, and how personal choices about cosmetic procedures and weight management intersect with career opportunities.
Brooks’ honesty is refreshing. She shows that even in glamorous industries, people face tough decisions about their bodies, and sometimes the outcomes aren’t what they expect. It’s a reminder that health and well-being should come first.
