Cara Delevingne stole the spotlight at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty on March 15, wearing a daring gown by Thom Browne from the Spring 2026 collection.

The dress featured a sheer long-sleeved top decorated with black, red, and white rhinestones and sequins that created the illusion of sculpted abs and bedazzled nipples, while the bottom half flowed into a simple black skirt.

The 33-year-old paired the look with black stilettos, dangling diamond earrings, and styled her hair in a bun with side-swept bangs, completing a bold and polished red carpet look.

Delevingne has a history of edgy and playful fashion choices. In May 2024, she debuted jet-black hair with blunt bangs at the premiere of her film The History of Sound. Two years earlier, she made headlines at London Fashion Week with a neon mohawk, featuring pink-dipped bangs, a green crown, and a multicolored leopard print center.

The model and actress has always emphasized the fun of experimenting with fashion. She told Vogue in September 2024, “I love taking beauty risks. I feel like, in some ways, I’ve never grown up. I still love playing dress-up and exploring, whether that’s a character or gender, trying something on for a day can be fun.”

Cara’s Thom Browne gown was one of the night’s most talked-about looks, proving she continues to push boundaries while owning her unique style.

Cara Delevingne knows how to make a red carpet statement like no one else. The illusion dress was bold, edgy, and perfectly showcased her fearless approach to fashion. What do you think of her look? Did she pull it off or go too far? Share your thoughts in the comments.
