Jessica Alba’s ex-husband, Cash Warren, has officially filed to finalize their divorce, nearly two years after the couple separated. The news comes from court documents obtained by PEOPLE, which were filed on Friday, February 13.

According to the papers, the divorce is uncontested, and neither Alba nor Warren will pay spousal support. Warren is now seeking the court’s final approval.

Alba, 44, and Warren, 45, share three children: daughters Honor Marie, 17, and Haven Garner, 14, and son Hayes, 8. The couple originally met in 2004 while working on the superhero film Fantastic Four. Alba played Sue Storm, and Warren worked as a director’s assistant. After years of dating, they married on May 19, 2008.

The actress, who co-founded the Honest Company, filed for divorce in January 2025 following a separation in 2024.

Despite their split, Alba and Warren have maintained a positive co-parenting relationship. On Father’s Day, Alba shared a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Warren, writing: “Happy Father’s Day, @cash_warren. Our babies couldn’t have a better dad — warm, kind, present, always knowing just what to say.” She added, “I admire your patience and the way you hold space for them. Making them feel safe and light after every conversation. Thank you for being their rock 🫶🏽.”

Since the separation, Alba has moved on personally as well. She has been in a relationship with actor Danny Ramirez since July 2025. Their romance sparked media attention when the two were photographed flying back to Los Angeles together from Cancún and were seen on several outings that same month.

Alba and Ramirez were also seen together during a vacation to Australia in October 2025, and Alba shared photos with him on Instagram to celebrate the new year in January.

While the divorce marks the end of a long chapter in Alba’s life, her career continues to thrive. She balances her business ventures with acting projects and personal milestones. Even with these changes, she and Warren appear committed to raising their children together in a healthy and supportive environment.

It’s clear that Alba and Warren have prioritized their family throughout this process. Their ability to remain amicable and cooperative after years of marriage is noteworthy in the often-turbulent world of Hollywood relationships.

The way Alba and Warren have handled their divorce demonstrates maturity and respect, especially for their children. It’s refreshing to see a high-profile couple prioritize family harmony over conflict. Do you think this sets a positive example for other celebrity divorces? Share your thoughts in the comments.
