At the moment, no further details were revealed. There is no release date, and the format of the Assassins Arc, whether it will be a TV series, movie, or other format—is still unknown. The cast and staff for this arc have not been announced yet either.
The previous Chainsaw Man projects give some idea of the team behind it. The Reze Arc movie was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara at MAPPA, with Masato Nakazono as assistant director. Hiroshi Seko wrote the screenplay, Kazutaka Sugiyama handled character designs, and Kensuke Ushio composed the music.
The first TV anime, directed by Ryu Nakayama, aired from October to December 2022 and is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the series as: “One day, as he was living his miserable life trying to pay off the debt he inherited from his parents, he got betrayed and killed. As he was losing his consciousness, he made a deal with Pochita, and got resurrected as the ‘Chainsaw Man’: the owner of the Devil’s heart.”
