Charlie Cox has been talking about where he sees his character moving inside the Marvel world, and fans are once again debating what could come next for the Man Without Fear. The discussion comes as the actor continues promoting his work on Daredevil: Born Again, while also reflecting on possible future crossovers in the wider MCU.

In a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Cox was asked about the idea of his character joining big team-ups like the Avengers films or appearing alongside Spider-Man again after past appearances in projects like Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. He spoke openly about what he would like to see, especially when it comes to larger character crossovers.

He said, “It’d be so cool to kind of have some kind of crossover with all of the Avengers, with Spider-Man as Daredevil, rather than as Matt Murdock, all of that kind of stuff.” The idea of Daredevil interacting more directly with major MCU heroes has been a long-running fan hope, especially as Marvel expands its universe across films and Disney+ series.

However, Cox also made it clear that, for now, Marvel’s plans for him are more limited. According to him, the studio has already set expectations about where his focus will be.

He explained, “Marvel have been clear with me for now at least that I’m focusing on the show, that’s our focus. That really is the truth.”

This means his attention is currently on Daredevil: Born Again, which is actively filming new episodes in New York. He added that while crossover possibilities always exist in the MCU, nothing has been confirmed for upcoming large-scale projects.

Cox also addressed speculation about appearances in major upcoming ensemble films like Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. He suggested fans should not expect anything official at this stage, even though Marvel characters often cross paths in unexpected ways.

He said the idea of team-ups is something he understands fans enjoy, but for now, his role is staying centered in the Disney+ corner of the universe. Still, he didn’t fully shut the door on future appearances, leaving room for possibilities down the line.

Alongside his comments, Cox also spoke about his long-term connection to the character and even joked that he would be happy to continue playing Daredevil for years, referencing a more aged version of the character seen in recent comic storylines.

For now, though, Marvel appears to be keeping Charlie Cox firmly focused on street-level stories rather than major crossover events, even as fans continue hoping for a bigger role in the MCU’s future.
