Colman Domingo Teases ‘Euphoria’ Final Episodes Will Take the Series “Up Into the Ethers”
Colman Domingo is teasing a big shift in Euphoria Season 3, saying the final stretch of episodes will take the HBO drama “up into the ethers.”
Speaking in a recent update shared around the show’s rollout, Domingo said the story builds heavily toward its ending. He described the final episodes as especially powerful and emotionally intense. He said, “It’s going to be incredible.”
The show has pushed its characters into darker and more extreme territory. Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, is now involved in adult content creation with help from Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, as she tries to gain money and fame. Rue, played by Zendaya, has taken a risky path by working with the Drug Enforcement Administration as an informant, putting herself in direct danger while dealing with criminal groups tied to Laurie, played by Martha Kelly.
Meanwhile, Nate, played by Jacob Elordi, is struggling with severe debt and personal collapse, with his situation getting worse as the season continues.

The season takes place five years after Season 2 and follows the characters as they deal with themes described by HBO as faith, redemption, and morality. The tone of the series has shifted as the characters face more adult consequences and harder realities.
Euphoria Season 3 has received mixed reactions from viewers and critics, with some pointing to a change in tone compared to earlier seasons.
New episodes continue to release weekly through May 31 on HBO and HBO Max.
