Connor Storrie Returns to ‘Criminal Minds: Evolution’ for Another Guest Appearance
Connor Storrie is making his return to Criminal Minds: Evolution this week, bringing back his character Lance Kingston as the latest episode puts him in a dangerous situation. A new exclusive clip released ahead of the upcoming episode shows the BAU team discovering Lance after he appears to have suffered a brutal attack.
The preview shows the Criminal Minds team entering the location where Lance had been held. They find him seemingly unconscious and with mysterious markings on his body, suggesting he was the victim of the torture seen in the previous episode. The new footage has left fans wondering what will happen to the character and whether he will survive the latest threat.
According to reports about the series, Storrie’s appearance is part of a four-episode guest storyline in the show’s 19th season. His arc began on June 11 and will continue through the next two episodes, giving fans more time to learn about Lance Kingston and his connection to the current storyline.
The role is also notable because it marks Storrie’s first television appearance following his breakout success in the popular drama series Heated Rivalry. However, his Criminal Minds: Evolution episodes were filmed before Heated Rivalry became a major hit and turned him into a rising star.
Heated Rivalry, which comes from Canadian streamer Crave and airs on HBO Max in the United States, follows the complicated relationship between two professional hockey players, Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov. Storrie plays Russian hockey star Ilya Rozanov, while Hudson Williams plays Canadian player Shane Hollander.

The series is based on the Game Changers book series by author Rachel Reid and focuses on the years-long relationship between the two athletes as they move from rivals to something much deeper. Since its release, the show has helped make Storrie and Williams well-known names, with both actors taking part in major events and securing new projects.
Crave renewed Heated Rivalry for a second season after the success of its first run. HBO Max will continue airing the series in the United States, and production on the new season is expected to begin this summer. The next chapter is planned for a spring 2027 release and will adapt more of Shane and Ilya’s story from Reid’s novels, including The Long Game and Role Model.
Reid has also announced another book in the Game Changers series. The upcoming novel Unrivaled will continue Shane and Ilya’s story and is expected to be released in June 2027.
While Storrie’s future in Criminal Minds: Evolution remains unclear, his return as Lance Kingston adds another mystery to the latest season. Fans will get to see the next part of his storyline when the new episode arrives, followed by another appearance in the following episode.
With his growing popularity after Heated Rivalry and his return to the long-running crime drama, Storrie is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about new faces on television.
