Corey Harrison Star Of Pawn Stars Misses Fathers Wedding Due To Horrific Crash
Corey Harrison is recovering after a serious motorcycle crash that put him in the hospital and forced him to miss a major family event. The Pawn Stars personality shared the update himself on social media on Monday, January 26.
Posting photos from his hospital bed, Harrison told followers that the accident left him with 11 broken ribs. He said the crash bars on his motorcycle helped protect him from even worse injuries. The accident happened in Tulum, Mexico, where he has been living since stepping away from television.
Harrison described the situation in plain terms, writing, Pretty messed up, but I’m good. He explained that the crash involved only his bike, a Harley-Davidson, and that he spent three nights in the hospital afterward. Along with the fractured ribs, he suffered a concussion, a hematoma, and needed ten stitches in his hand. Doctors have ordered him to stay on bed rest for at least six weeks.
The timing made things harder. Because of the injuries, Harrison was unable to attend his father Rick Harrison’s, wedding celebration in Cancun. Rick and his wife, Agripina Angie Polushkin, were legally married in Las Vegas on January 3, but the larger ceremony with family and friends took place this week in Mexico.
Corey acknowledged missing the event in another post, writing, Sorry Pops, looks like I’m missing your wedding. A representative later confirmed that Rick Harrison was able to visit his son in the hospital before heading to the celebration.
Despite the setback, Corey Harrison appears to be staying positive. He told fans he plans to share more details about the crash soon. According to his post, he intends to talk about it on an upcoming episode of The Corey Harrison Show, his podcast project.
Harrison moved to Tulum in late 2025 after deciding to step away from his long-running role on Pawn Stars. He has said he no longer wanted to play a younger version of himself on camera and wanted a quieter life. His podcast, which launched in July 2025, focuses on personal stories, life changes, and his experiences after leaving reality TV.
Back in Las Vegas, Rick Harrison continues to work on the family business. He has teased plans for a new show, often referred to as Pawn Stars 2.0, following the original series going on hiatus in early 2025.
The new version is expected to include familiar elements along with new ventures like Rick’s Rollin’ Smoke BBQ and Tavern. Austin Chumlee Russell is expected to return, though Corey has said he does not plan to rejoin the show.
For now, Corey Harrison is focused on healing. His updates suggest the road ahead will be slow, but he remains grateful to be on the mend and surrounded by support as he recovers from the crash.
