Daisy Edgar-Jones is officially stepping into a new era of her career, and she is doing so with a signature glow. The English actress recently stunned fans by sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses on social media, including a candid photo of her applying makeup while wrapped in a plush bathrobe.

These images follow the grand unveiling of her first campaign as the global brand ambassador for Estée Lauder, a partnership the star celebrated with a star-studded gala at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The event, themed “Maison More,” served as a lavish toast to the actress and the brand’s reimagined Double Wear Foundation. Dressed in a striking white feathered mini dress by The Attico, Edgar-Jones mingled with a high-profile crowd that included fellow ambassadors Karlie Kloss and Imaan Hammam, as well as her close friend and Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor. Reflecting on her evolving relationship with her appearance, the actress noted that she is finding a lot more confidence as she enters her late 20s.

I used to use makeup to kind of hide or cover up, but now I use it to bring out my inner confidence and better express how I’m feeling, she told Vogue during the festivities. She also shared a sentimental connection to the brand, recalling that the scent of Advanced Night Repair, a serum her mother used faithfully, feels like becoming a woman to her. She even admitted to a few unconventional beauty habits, such as using the same brown nude eyeliner for both her eyebrows and her lips because it is so handy.

The Chateau Marmont was transformed for the night into a vintage-inspired playground, featuring phone booths and personalized color-matching stations for guests. As the clock struck 10 p.m., the lounge turned into a full-blown dance party, though Edgar-Jones spent much of the night catching up with friends she had personally invited to the milestone event. It’s so cool being here tonight to celebrate in the most iconic location, she remarked, noting that the presence of her inner circle made it feel like a proper celebration.

This major beauty contract marks just the beginning of what is set to be a massive year for the Normal People breakout star. Edgar-Jones has been a fixture on the fashion circuit lately, making headlines for her “boho-chic” street style and front-row appearances at Gucci. Her acting slate is equally busy, as she is currently preparing for the highly anticipated September 2026 release of Sense and Sensibility.

In the new Jane Austen adaptation directed by Georgia Oakley, Edgar-Jones will take on the iconic role of Elinor Dashwood, starring alongside Esmé Creed-Miles and Caitríona Balfe.

Fans can also look forward to seeing her in the heist thriller Here Comes the Flood, where she is set to share the screen with industry titans Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson. With a balance of prestigious period pieces and high-octane blockbusters, she is firmly cementing her place as one of the most versatile talents of her generation.
