Marvel fans are getting another look at Matt Murdock’s next big adventure because a new TV spot for Daredevil: Born Again has just arrived.

This short video is a big deal because it confirms that Season 2 is finally coming to Disney+ on March 24. Usually, fans have to wait three or four years for a new season of a big show, but Marvel is sticking to a yearly schedule for the Man Without Fear. Even better, news from the studio says that Season 3 is already being planned for release just one year after this new batch of episodes.

The new teaser is mostly about showing off a team-up that people have wanted to see for years. It features Matt Murdock working with Jessica Jones, played once again by Krysten Ritter. This is the first time Ritter has played the private investigator since her own show ended way back in 2019.

Charlie Cox talked about their reunion during a press event and said, just by the nature of who Jessica is and who Matt is, they both give as much as they get. He mentioned that they had both been waiting a very long time to put these two back together on screen.

Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum explained that Jessica will show up in a few episodes of Season 2, much like how the Punisher appeared in the first season. Charlie Cox also shared that it was important for them to keep the same funny and tough relationship the characters had before. He said they wanted to tongue in cheek, take the piss out of each other, but also get down to business and make sure that we’re serving the story appropriately. The show is going to be very gritty as Matt tries to save New York City from the Kingpin’s control.

In the new season, Wilson Fisk has become the Mayor of New York and is using his power to hunt down Daredevil. Matt has to hide in the shadows to fight back against Fisk’s corrupt empire.

The story is being described with the words resist, rebel, and rebuild. Along with the main heroes and villains, fans will see familiar faces like Karen Page and Bullseye returning to the streets of Hell’s Kitchen. This season also introduces a new character named Mr. Charles, played by Matthew Lillard, who is supposed to be a major rival for the Kingpin.

Charlie Cox has been busy with more than just Daredevil lately, as he also lent his voice to the Spider-Man: Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man animated series. He is also set to appear in future Marvel movies, ensuring Daredevil stays at the center of the action for years to come.

Krysten Ritter has also been keeping busy with other acting roles, but she told reporters that returning to Jessica Jones felt like a special gift for the fans who never stopped asking for her back. She mentioned how much she loves the character’s raw strength and how she helps people who feel like outsiders.
