‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is certainly one of the releases this year that is meant to kickstart great things. First, the movie is Deadpool’s first foray into the MCU, something that fans have been asking for, well, since the MCU existed. Second, it’s part of a new strategy that aims to restore at least some of the faith that fans had in the franchise and in the studio.

It’s one special movie judging by countless rumors regarding cameos and jokes. There’s been talk that previous X-Men villains and members will show up in the movie. In recent interviews, Karan Soni, who will be returning as Dopinder in the third movie, revealed that there will be a lot of cameos in the film since a lot of people made it to London. He however couldn’t comment on the specifics of those cameos. Soni also added how a lot of the jokes in the movie are aimed toward Kevin Feige.

Then a mere few days later massive rumors broke out which is almost as good as confirmed, confirming that Henry Cavill would be appearing in the movie as the Wolverine variant. This is supposedly to be a one-off thing and doesn’t bar Cavill from playing a different character in the MCU in the future, due to the nature of the Multiverse.

All of this news led fans to question the quality of the movie, one of the top complaints I get on both social media and privately is that if all those cameo rumors are true, each character is expected to have like a few seconds of screen time.

Now Feature First reports that the runtime of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Previous reports indicated that it was just under 2 hours due to some stuff being left out of the finished product. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is set for release in the US on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
