Few Hollywood brand partnerships feel as natural as Jennifer Lawrence and Longines. The Oscar-winning actress has fronted the Swiss watchmaker’s campaigns for years, and her calm, unforced style fits the brand’s long-running message that elegance is an attitude. That pairing has produced some of the more memorable luxury advertising of recent years.

Lawrence has been a Longines Ambassador of Elegance since 2022, when her first official images, shot by Dan Jackson, showed her in a black dress wearing a Master Collection watch. The relationship has grown steadily since, with a Mini DolceVita campaign in 2023 and a New York boutique appearance in 2025. Last year she also starred in the campaign for the redesigned PrimaLuna, posing alone inside an empty opera house.

Now a fresh set of images is drawing attention online. In one image she wears a black shirt and trousers with the watch on her wrist, while in another she poses in a tailored dark blazer in a warm wood-paneled room, with a lamp and a burl wood side table behind her.

The new shots are notable for how restrained they are. There’s no elaborate set piece or dramatic gown, just clean tailoring, soft lighting and a watch that quietly anchors every frame. Her golden hair falls in soft waves with curtain bangs, and the overall effect is polished but relaxed.

That tone matches how Lawrence talks about the brand. In an exclusive with Watchonista, she said she likes watches that are “functional jewelry,” explaining that a watch gives a more polished, professional look while also being something beautiful. She has made similar points elsewhere, describing Longines pieces as effortless accessories that can move from casual daytime looks to formal events.

The timing lines up with a big moment for the brand. This summer, Longines relaunched its flagship Master Collection, which first arrived in 2005, with a ‘Home of Elegance’ campaign. It brought together Lawrence with fellow ambassadors Kate Winslet, Henry Cavill, Eddie Peng, Zhao Liying and Yosh Yu.

The redesign includes new models, such as the collection’s first monopusher chronograph, the Chrono Monopusher, which pairs a 41mm polished stainless steel case with a concave bezel. Updated 3-hand models range from 30mm to 41mm. The nod to history is deliberate, since Longines was founded in Saint-Imier in 1832 and released its first monopusher chronograph as far back as 1911.

Lawrence’s off-screen work is just as busy. She co-founded the production company Excellent Cadaver in 2018 with producing partner Justine Ciarrocchi, and its slate includes ‘Causeway,’ ‘No Hard Feelings’ and ‘Die, My Love.’ The latter, directed by Lynne Ramsay and co-starring Robert Pattinson, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025 and reached US theaters on November 7 of that year.

Her upcoming slate is also intriguing. According to Numéro, Lawrence has several projects coming, including ‘The Wives,’ Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Burial Rites’ and Martin Scorsese’s ‘Sinatra.’ That mix of auteur-driven projects fits the direction she has taken as a performer and producer.

The appeal of the partnership comes down to authenticity. Longines has praised Lawrence for bringing her unmistakable presence to the brand, and the latest images show why the collaboration has lasted. She looks comfortable, and the watch never feels like the point, which is exactly what luxury advertising often struggles to achieve.

What do you think of Jennifer Lawrence’s latest Longines look?
