A new movie snack collectible tied to the film “Disclosure Day” has started showing up in theaters, and it is already getting attention online. Both Regal Cinemas and Cinemark have confirmed the release of special popcorn buckets and drink sets based on the film.

The movie “Disclosure Day” is an upcoming science fiction film from Universal Pictures. It is set to release on June 12. The film is directed by Steven Spielberg and written by David Koepp, based on a story developed by Spielberg. The cast includes actors like Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.

The film is about a world-changing moment when proof of alien life may finally be revealed. The story follows people caught in the middle of a global crisis when secrets about extraterrestrial life begin to come out. The idea behind the film is simple but serious, asking what would happen if humanity finally learned the truth.

To promote the film, theaters have started rolling out themed popcorn buckets and drink containers. Regal has launched a special combo that includes popcorn and a soda. The bucket is matte black with a glowing blue eye design on it. Across the front, it has the phrase “WE DESERVE TO KNOW.” The design also includes a clear window on the side so people can actually see the popcorn inside.

According to Regal’s official announcement, the combo is available at participating theaters while supplies last. Tickets for the film are already on sale through their official booking system. The company also confirmed a separate item called the “Stag Popcorn Bucket,” which is available only through online pre-order and not inside theaters.

Cinemark has released its own version of the collectible as well. Their set includes a tin and a souvenir cup. The design uses the same dark color scheme and the same glowing eye image seen in the movie’s marketing. Cinemark confirmed that their items are already available in theaters.

The unusual design of these collectibles has become part of the conversation around the movie. The glowing eye and the black finish are clearly meant to match the film’s theme of hidden truth and exposure. The phrase “WE DESERVE TO KNOW” appears across the bucket and has become a key part of the promotion.

There is also growing interest because of how many different versions of the popcorn bucket are being released at the same time.

The film itself has been in development since 2024. Early reports said Spielberg returned to science fiction for this project, working again with David Koepp. Production took place in multiple U.S. locations during 2025, including New York and New Jersey.

The story focuses on a whistleblower and a global conspiracy connected to alien disclosure. It builds toward the idea of a single event that could change human history.

As the release date gets closer, the popcorn buckets and theater collectibles are becoming part of the film’s identity. For many fans, these items are now just as interesting as the movie itself, especially with their strong visual theme and unusual design choices.
