Disney is increasing the prices for its streaming services again. Starting October 21, 2025, Disney+ with ads will go from $9.99 to $11.99 per month.

The Disney+ Premium plan without ads will rise from $15.99 to $18.99 per month. Hulu with ads will also increase from $9.99 to $11.99 per month, while the ad-free Hulu Premium will stay at $18.99. ESPN Select, formerly known as ESPN+, will go up from $11.99 to $12.99 per month.

For now, the introductory price for the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundle with ads remains $29.99 per month for the first year.

The price hikes were planned in advance, according to Disney. However, they come at a time when some users have been canceling subscriptions after Disney and ABC temporarily suspended Jimmy Kimmel’s show.

The suspension followed comments Kimmel made about the killer of Charlie Kirk, and FCC chair Brendan Carr’s threats to investigate ABC stations if they did not pull the program. While Disney says Kimmel’s show will return Tuesday, some station groups, including Nexstar Media and Sinclair, will continue to preempt the show.

Disney’s streaming service increases cover multiple plans and bundles. The Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle with ads rises from $16.99 to $19.99 per month. The premium version of this bundle, with no ads on Disney+ or Hulu but ads in ESPN Select, will go from $26.99 to $29.99.

The Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max bundles will also see increases, with the ad-free version rising from $29.99 to $32.99. Hulu + Live TV plans, including Disney+ and ESPN Select, will go up as well, from $82.99 to $89.99 with ads, and $95.99 to $99.99 without ads.

These changes mark another round of price adjustments for Disney’s streaming services. It reflects rising costs and the company’s continued push to expand content while managing profitability.

Price increases like these are frustrating for subscribers, especially when they coincide with other controversies. Many people already pay for multiple streaming services, and rising costs may push more users to cancel. What do you think about Disney+ and Hulu raising prices again?
