Disney+ Unveils a Wintry New ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Poster for ‘The Titan’s Curse’
Winter is coming to Camp Half-Blood. The latest chapter of Disney+’s ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ trades summer-camp adventures for snowbound quests, and the marketing is leaning hard into that colder, darker mood.
The adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling books has built momentum with each installment. The second season ran from December 10, 2025 to January 21, 2026, and the series was renewed for another round in March 2025, well before that run began.
Now fans have a fresh look at what’s ahead. A new ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ poster has been released, with the show returning to Disney+ on November 20. The artwork shows Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, perched on a large black winged horse in a snowy landscape, a sword glinting at the edge of the frame. Above the title sits the tagline “A Titan’s Curse. A Hero’s Destiny.”

The image is a notable shift in tone from the show’s earlier promotional material. Snowflakes drift through the air as the huge dark wings stretch behind Percy, who looks off into the distance with a wary expression. Disney’s branding and the November 20 date anchor the bottom of the frame.
It follows the first poster released in July, when Disney+ announced the premiere date at San Diego Comic-Con. The new key art arrives as promotion shifts toward November, and it does a lot with a few elements: winter, flight, a weapon and a tagline that hints at fate.
The third season adapts ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third novel in Riordan’s series, and marks the first time the book has been brought to the screen. In the story, Annabeth disappears, and Percy, Grover and Thalia join forces with the Hunters of Artemis to find her. The official description says the stakes are higher than ever as Percy faces her sudden disappearance and the looming Great Prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi.
According to a plot summary of the source material, the quest involves the Titan Atlas, who forces the goddess Artemis to hold up the sky, creating the Titan’s curse. That image lines up with the teaser Disney+ released, which shows Percy straining under the weight of the heavens. The first trailer also followed Percy as he wrestles with a dream about the Great Prophecy.
The season widens its cast considerably. Tamara Smart plays Thalia Grace, whose return at the end of the previous season sets up much of the new story, while Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie join as Nico and Bianca di Angelo. Dafne Keen takes on Artemis, and Saara Chaudry plays her lieutenant, Zoë Nightshade.
Other additions include Holt McCallany as Atlas, Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo and Andra Day as Athena. Returning stars include Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover and Charlie Bushnell as Luke. Production took place in Vancouver.

At Comic-Con, Scobell told fans that this is the closest the show has come to matching Riordan’s novels, a point executive producer Craig Silverstein echoed by calling it the most book-accurate season so far. Executive producer Dan Shotz said fans should look forward to the Hunters of Artemis, and also said the story will expand Annabeth’s journey once she is separated from the group.
The footage shown at the convention opened with Thalia battling a monster in a parking garage, with Percy arriving to help, and the friction between the two carried over from the last season. A teaser later debuted at D23, where Walker Scobell was joined onstage by an army of hunters as well as Ming-Na Wen and Andra Day.
The new poster is likely the first of several promotional pieces as the premiere nears. It suggests a story with higher stakes and a more mature tone, which the producers have said makes sense as the characters grow older. For fans of the books, that is the point where the series turns from adventure into something heavier.
With the premiere set for November 20, Disney+ appears to be timing the release for the holiday viewing period. Whether the show can deliver on the promise of its coldest, most dangerous chapter yet remains to be seen. For now, the artwork has done its job.
