Kaitlyn and Byron, along with Kyle, tried to convince cartel figure Pablo Carrillo to work with the CIA in exchange for freedom and protection in the US. That storyline turned violent when Carrillo shot and killed his own brother Alvaro, the leader of Los Tigres, in a shocking betrayal. While that subplot resolved with a new cartel leader taking over, Joe herself made it through the finale’s chaos in Iraq intact.

Back in Season 1, Joe struggled with being away from her family throughout the season, and her daughter Kate’s car accident back home served as a serious wake up call for her. Is Joe in Danger Again in ‘Lioness’ Season 3?

Just when fans thought Joe might finally slow down, ‘Lioness’ Season 3 opened with one of its most alarming moments yet. The premiere opens with a flash forward showing Joe ambushed outside her Virginia home and abducted by a group of armed assailants, before jumping back six months to explain how it got there.
