Dua Lipa brought serious glamour to the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s annual Academy Awards viewing party on March 15. The singer wore a striking cobalt blue gown with a body-hugging mermaid silhouette that flared slightly at the bottom.

The evening included a charity auction, which David noted has been especially important after last year’s Southern California fires. “There were a lot of very necessary philanthropic asks for Southern California as a result of the fires,” he said to Variety on March 10. “But our ticket sales are really strong this year. We’ve got a fantastic auction, and we’ve got Neil and David joining us as co-hosts. We’re asking people to be generous.”
