Dua Lipa Owns the Red Carpet in See Through Lace at Rosebush Pruning Premiere
Dua Lipa once again proved that red carpets are her comfort zone during the Berlin International Film Festival over the weekend. The singer attended the world premiere of Rosebush Pruning on February 14 and quickly became one of the most talked-about stars at the event.
Photos and videos from the premiere, along with her own social media posts, captured the moment as it unfolded. The 30-year-old stepped out in a custom black Chanel gown that leaned fully into sheer fashion without feeling overdone.
The dress was made from delicate lace and fell all the way to the floor, giving it a soft and romantic feel. The off-the-shoulder cut added drama, while the textured hem dragged slightly behind her as she walked.
Under the see-through fabric, Dua wore a black tube-style bra and matching high-waisted briefs. The styling felt intentional and confident rather than revealing for the sake of attention. Fashion watchers at the festival noted that the look felt polished but fearless, something she has become known for.
She later shared photos from the night on Instagram, offering fans a closer look at the outfit and the atmosphere. She captioned the post V-day in Berlin. Rosebush Pruning premiere, confirming the look was very much tied to the Valentine’s Day setting. The post quickly filled with praise from fans and fellow celebrities.
Her hair was pulled back into a tight bun, keeping the focus on the dress and her jewelry. Makeup stayed cool and clean, with soft purple tones around the eyes and a deep neutral lip. The final touch was a Bulgari Serpenti necklace, which added contrast and a sharp edge to the lace-heavy look.
Although Dua stole plenty of attention, she was there to support her fiancé, actor Callum Turner. The two were seen chatting and laughing together before he joined the rest of the cast for official photos. According to festival reporters on site, the couple kept things low-key but affectionate throughout the evening.
Rosebush Pruning itself has been drawing strong reactions at the festival. The film is a dark satire that follows a wealthy American family living in Europe and dealing with long-buried issues after a sudden death. Callum Turner plays one of the siblings at the center of the story, alongside Pamela Anderson, Riley Keough, Jamie Bell, Lukas Gage, and Tracy Letts.
Early reactions from critics at the Berlinale described the film as strange, stylish, and intentionally uncomfortable. Much of the attention has also focused on Anderson’s role, which many see as another step in her recent career resurgence.
Outside of the film world, Dua Lipa continues to juggle music, fashion, and publishing. She recently wrapped up her major Radical Optimism tour, she also remains active with her Service95 platform, and has shown growing interest in film after appearing in Argylle.
