‘EastEnders’ Star Spotted on Hinge Pursuing Women 15 Years Younger

Dean Gaffney, known for his long run on EastEnders, is in the spotlight again after a woman on TikTok claimed he tried to match with her on the dating app Hinge.

She said the actor, who is 47, was swiping right for women much younger than him, around 15 years his junior.

The TikTok user told her followers that Gaffney had called her “gorgeous.” She explained that she was surprised by the message and said, “To say I was shocked is a bit of an understatement because Dean Gaffney swiping for me on Hinge was not on my 2025 bingo card. I used to love EastEnders, if I told my mum about this, she’d do an actual backflip, she loves EastEnders.”

Her video quickly got attention on the app. One comment that has been liked nearly 900 times said, “Who here has been personally swiped by Dean Gaffney.” Others shared similar stories, with users saying things like, “Yep, it’s happened to me multiple times,” and “Who hasn’t.” Another person added, “He messaged me with ‘stunning’.”

The TikTok claims come shortly after reports that Gaffney had been seeing Kate Black, a Harvard graduate who is 16 years younger than him. According to earlier reports, they had been dating since April.

It was also shared last year that Gaffney had joined Hinge as he looked for a new relationship. The actor has twin daughters from a previous relationship with Sarah Burge. On his Hinge profile, he wrote that he didn’t want to date anyone who smokes, calling it his “biggest turn-off.”
