Emma Heming Willis Posts Heartwarming Throwback with Bruce Willis for Anniversary Celebration
Emma Heming Willis shared a heartfelt throwback photo of herself and her husband, Bruce Willis, on Instagram to celebrate a special milestone in their relationship. The couple, who met in 2007 and married in 2009, are marking 18 years since they first became a couple.
In her post, Emma, an author and mother of two, wrote, “18 years ago, he became my boyfriend. With one kiss on the top of my head, time stood still. I’m so lucky to know this kind of love 💙.” The image and message gave fans a glimpse of their long-lasting bond.
Bruce and Emma have two daughters together, Mabel and Evelyn. Bruce, best known for his roles in action films like Die Hard, was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022. About a year later, his diagnosis was clarified as frontotemporal dementia.
Emma shared at the time, “Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”
Bruce also receives support from his three older daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, whom he shares with his ex-wife Demi Moore.
Rumer recently spoke about the family’s experience at the premiere of My Divorce Party, saying, “I think, for me, through this experience, what’s been so incredible is my dad is so beloved, and that’s been so evident in the transparency with which we’ve been sharing. And I think if there’s any way sharing our experience brings hope—whatever comes forward as a family—that can have an effect and bring any sort of hope, comfort to someone else experiencing that, then to me, that’s everything.”
The throwback post is a reminder of the strong bond Emma and Bruce share, and how their blended family has rallied together in support during challenging times.
