Emma Stone Flashes Toned Abs in a Flirty Crop Top at the Golden Globes
Emma Stone made it clear she was ready to show some skin at the 2026 Golden Globes. The actress stepped onto the red carpet on January 11 in Los Angeles wearing a bold two-piece look that put her abs front and center.
The appearance quickly became one of the most talked-about fashion moments of the night.

Stone, 37, was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in Bugonia. For the big night, she chose a butter-yellow Louis Vuitton outfit made up of a sleeveless crop top and a low-rise skirt. The short top showed off her toned stomach and belly button, while the beaded fringe skirt sat just above her hips and moved as she walked, giving the look a playful feel.

Her hair was just as much of a moment as the outfit. Stone debuted a new shade while continuing to grow out her short cut. Celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham handled the color, now being called “soft auburn.”
According to a press release, the color was done using Schwarzkopf Professional’s Igora Vibrance line to give it a shiny, glossy finish. Stone wanted to go slightly darker than her usual brown-red tone. Hairstylist Mara Roszak styled her bob so it sat neatly at her chin.
Stone has been open about enjoying the process of growing her hair back after shaving it for Bugonia. In an interview with Vogue, she said, “The first three months were the hardest part because I wore a beanie constantly. It was very short and buzzed, and I found it just kind of boring to always be wearing a beanie. But once it got to pixie length, from then on, it’s been a really fun process. You get to try so many different styles.”
Stone was not the only star leaning into sexy fashion at this year’s ceremony. Jennifer Lawrence wore a nearly sheer Givenchy gown with floral embroidery that reminded many of Beyoncé’s famous Met Gala look.
Teyana Taylor went bold in a custom Schiaparelli dress with cutouts and a built-in jeweled thong. Jennifer Lopez also made waves in a sheer Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture mermaid gown that highlighted her figure, continuing her response to critics who have commented on her style choices.
Between the outfit, the hair, and the confidence, Emma Stone’s Golden Globes appearance proved that crop tops and bare skin have a solid place on the red carpet.
