‘Euphoria’ Cast Age Bombshell — See Who’s Way Older (or Younger) Than You Thought

Euphoria is having a big moment again after Season 3 premiered last month, and fans are right back to talking about the cast and everything around them. The show first came out in 2019 and quickly got attention for its raw look at teenagers dealing with love, friendships, identity, and tough issues like drugs, trauma, sex, and social media.

Even though the story starts in a high school setting, many viewers were surprised to learn that the actors were already older than their characters when filming began. The youngest among the main cast is Javon Walton, who plays Ashtray. He was born on July 22, 2006, and is now 19. Not far behind is Storm Reid, known for playing Gia Bennett, who was born on July 1, 2003, making her 22.

Moving up the list, Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules Vaughn, was born on December 31, 1998, and is 27. Maude Apatow, who plays Lexi Howard, and Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie Howard, were both born in 1997 and are 28, along with Chloe Cherry and Jacob Elordi, who are also 28.

Right after them are Barbie Ferreira, Austin Abrams, and Zendaya, all born in 1996 and currently 29. Dominic Fike comes next at 30, followed by Algee Smith, who is 31.

The oldest among the main group is Alexa Demie, who plays Maddy Perez. She was born on December 11, 1990, and is now 35.

There is also a sad note tied to the cast. Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, passed away in 2023 at the age of 25. His role was a big part of the show, and fans still remember him.

The mix of ages is one of the reasons the cast feels so unique. Even though they play teens on screen, their real-life experiences bring something different to the story, which fans continue to connect with as the show stays in the spotlight.
