‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Sets Release Window and Confirms Returning Cast
HBO has confirmed that Euphoria will return for its third season in spring 2026, bringing a mix of returning stars and new faces to the high school drama.
The series, created by Sam Levinson, will feature eight new episodes following the lives of Rue and her friends as they navigate addiction, relationships, and family challenges.
Season 3 will see a large expansion of the cast. Newcomers include Trisha Paytas, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, and Eli Roth.
Other additions are Bella Podaras, Bill Bodner, Cailyn Rice, Colleen Camp, Gideon Adlon, Hemky Madera, Homer Gere, Jack Topalian, Jessica Blair Herman, Kwame Patterson, Madison Thompson, Matthew Willig, Rebecca Pidgeon, and Sam Trammell. Returning cast members include Alanna Ubach, Daeg Faerch, Melvin Bonez Estes, Paula Marshall, Sophia Rose Wilson, and Zak Steiner as reported by Variety.
Fans can also look forward to the return of Dominic Fike as Elliot, the guitar-playing, trouble-making character, as well as Nika King, who plays Rue’s mother Leslie. King had previously been left off early Season 3 announcements after speaking publicly about production delays affecting her work.
The show will continue to feature its core cast, including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Chloe Cherry, and Colman Domingo. Some notable departures include Storm Reid, who will not return as Rue’s sister Gia, and Barbie Ferreira, who left the series in 2022. Tragically, Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, passed away in 2023 at the age of 25.
In addition to new cast members, the show has added talented crew. Four-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood joins as co-producer, with Natasha Newman-Thomas as costume designer and Francois Audouy handling production design. Hans Zimmer will provide the score, alongside Labrinth, who contributed to the music of the first two seasons.
Euphoria has become one of HBO’s standout series, earning 25 Emmy nominations and winning nine awards across its first two seasons. Season 3 is currently filming in Los Angeles after facing several production delays.
With a strong mix of returning favorites and fresh faces, Season 3 promises to continue the intense, emotional storytelling that made Euphoria a cultural phenomenon. The addition of top-tier talent like Hans Zimmer and Colleen Atwood also hints at even higher production quality. Are you excited to see the new cast and storylines unfold?
