‘Euphoria’ Star Sydney Sweeney Goes Full ‘Baywatch’ on a Sun-Soaked Getaway With Scooter Braun
Sydney Sweeney has never been shy about sharing glimpses of her life with her followers, and lately those glimpses have increasingly included one familiar face. Over the past year, her romance with Scooter Braun has gone from a quiet whisper to a fully public relationship. Each new trip tends to spark a fresh round of fan chatter.
The couple’s story began in Italy. They were reportedly introduced at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice in June 2025, and their dating was confirmed soon after. Since then, they have been spotted on vacation in places ranging from the Florida Keys to Australia and New Zealand.
The newest chapter arrived on September 30, when the New York Post shared photos of Sweeney’s vacation with Braun under the headline that she was going full ‘Baywatch’. The images show her in a red one-piece swimsuit, while a second shot captures Braun lifting her into the air against a rocky, sunlit backdrop.
The look clearly landed. One outlet described the swimsuit as reminiscent of the ones worn by the iconic ’90s ‘Baywatch’ stars. Sweeney shared the getaway with her 25.9 million Instagram followers, and fans have been praising the pictures since.
This was no lazy beach weekend. Sweeney spent much of the getaway around the water, and her Instagram carousel reportedly included boat rides and time on a yacht with Braun and friends. One report says she showed off her wakeboarding skills, including a video of her wakeboarding with a friend on her back.
Braun also posted footage of Sweeney wakeboarding from the same trip. That action-packed style fits their earlier travels, too, since their New Zealand trip reportedly included archery in the snow, a helicopter photo, and a nighttime jump over water.
The relationship has moved steadily into the open. Sweeney made things Instagram official in May 2026 by sharing a photo with Braun, and he accompanied her to the premiere of ‘Euphoria’ season 3 in April. By December of last year, a source told People that the pair were in a committed relationship and things were serious.
More recently, the couple made their Venice Film Festival debut together in September, almost exactly a year after People first confirmed they were dating. They were photographed taking a boat through the city’s canals, although Sweeney doesn’t have any films playing at the festival this year.
Audience reaction to Sweeney’s vacation posts has been warm. Fans cheered on the couple’s adventurous New Zealand getaway in the comments, calling them a duo and celebrating the trip. That enthusiasm seems to have carried over to the latest photos.
The couple’s rise has come with plenty of speculation, however. Earlier insider reports suggested Sweeney was not looking for a serious relationship at first, while later accounts described Braun as supportive of her career. Neither has confirmed many of the claims swirling around them, so it’s worth treating the rumors with caution.
Sweeney is 29, and Braun is 45. Braun was previously married to Yael Cohen from 2014 until they split in 2021, and they divorced in 2022, and the former couple share 3 children. Sweeney, meanwhile, ended her engagement to Jonathan Davino in March 2025 after 7 years together.
Sweeney’s professional life is busy as well. She is best known for ‘Euphoria’ and ‘The White Lotus’, and she also starred in ‘Anyone But You’. For now, though, the focus is on a couple who appear to be enjoying their downtime in full view of the public.
