Vince Gilligan’s new Apple TV+ series follows Carol Sturka, a woman described as the most miserable person on Earth who is unexpectedly chosen to save the world from happiness. The story unfolds after a mysterious global event and leans into science fiction ideas with a strong character focus. Rhea Seehorn leads the cast with recurring roles from Karolina Wydra and Carlos-Manuel Vesga. The series premieres with two episodes on Apple TV+ on November 7, then continues weekly through the nine episode first season.

This animated fantasy comedy from Netflix Animation and Kuku Studios follows siblings Stevie and Elliot as they enter the world of dreams to find the Sandman and ask for the perfect family. The voice cast includes Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Elias Janssen, Craig Robinson, Simu Liu, Cristin Milioti, and Omid Djalili. Expect a colorful quest through wish making realms, oddball creatures, and the kind of peril that only turns up in sleep. It streams on Netflix on November 14 following a short theatrical run the week before.

Set in Exandria and adapted from campaign two of Critical Role, this animated series follows a band of misfits drawn together by fate as tensions rise between powerful nations on the continent of Wildemount. The party crosses paths with arcane relics, clandestine cabals, and gods who nudge mortal destinies. The original Critical Role cast returns to voice their characters with guest stars joining throughout the season. The series launches on Prime Video on November 19 with multiple episodes and then continues weekly.

The second chapter of the musical saga continues the story of Elphaba and Glinda as Oz grapples with the fallout from the first film and the truth behind the Wizard’s rule. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande return alongside Jonathan Bailey, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, and Ethan Slater, with key musical numbers such as Thank Goodness, No Good Deed, and For Good shaping the final act of their intertwined destinies. The film adapts the latter half of the stage musical and introduces moments that bridge Oz to the familiar arrivals from Kansas. It opens exclusively in movie theaters on November 21.

The final season begins with Hawkins under tight control as the town reels from the last encounter with Vecna and a new phase of the Upside Down’s threat emerges. Set in the fall of 1987, the story pushes the original friends back together for one all out attempt to stop the darkness spilling over their world. Returning cast members lead the charge with new faces joining the fight as the show builds toward a year end finale. Volume One arrives on Netflix on November 26 with additional episodes dropping later in December.

Based on Tony DiTerlizzi’s book trilogy, this animated Apple TV+ series follows Eva as she ventures across Orbona and confronts the forces threatening the Heart of the Forest. The final installment brings old allies like Otto and Rovender back into the fold while war looms between humans and the planet’s native species. Skydance Animation produces with Bobs Gannaway as showrunner and Jeanine Mason leading the voice cast. The new season premieres globally on Apple TV+ on November 26.

A24’s fantasy romance centers on Joan, who finds herself in the afterlife with one week to choose where and with whom she will spend eternity. Elizabeth Olsen stars alongside Miles Teller and Callum Turner as past and present loves collide in a place where time works differently and memory holds unusual power. The film premiered at Toronto earlier in the year and blends heartfelt moments with a playful take on cosmic rules. It opens in movie theaters nationwide on November 26.
