Superhero fans have a lot to look forward to in 2026, with several new Marvel and DC games set to launch on consoles and PC. Despite some cancellations and delays in recent years, the upcoming slate promises plenty of action and adventure for players.

One of the first big releases is Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra from Skydance New Media. Players will get to control both Black Panther and Captain America as they battle Hydra. The game was originally expected in 2025, but now it is scheduled for early 2026.

While Skydance hasn’t officially confirmed which platforms it will be on, it is expected to launch across multiple systems.

DC fans won’t be left out. The next LEGO Batman game, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, will let players experience key events from several classic Batman movies with Arkham-inspired gameplay. Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, and LEGO have confirmed a 2026 release. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, giving fans plenty of options.

Marvel is also bringing a new fighting game next year. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls from Arc System Works recently had a closed beta on PS5. The game offers tag team combat with a large roster of Marvel heroes and comic book-style action. It’s expected to release on PC and PS5, giving players a fresh take on superhero fighting games.

Another highly anticipated title is Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine. After a long wait, a new gameplay trailer has shown Logan in full action. The game will include several X-Men characters and is planned as a PS5 exclusive. Insomniac is aiming for a fall 2026 release, giving fans an exciting single-player adventure to look forward to.

For now, these four titles are the only Marvel and DC games confirmed for 2026. Other projects may be revealed as the year approaches, but fans can already expect a mix of fighting games, story-driven adventures, and LEGO fun.

It’s clear that superhero gaming continues to thrive. With both Marvel and DC represented, there’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy fast-paced combat or cinematic storytelling. Which of these games are you most excited for? Share your thoughts in the comments.
